On the 18th of June, continuing the collaboration in the implementation of the Roma Strategy 2014-2020, the chief coordinator and Minister without portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Aksel Ahmedovski held a coordinative meeting with the majority of the active Roma NGOs.

During the meeting, the NGOs presented the realized activities and the activities which are yet to be realized in the following period regarding the implementation of the Roma strategy in the Republic of Macedonia 2014-2020, as well as the National Action Plans for housing, education, employment, health and strengthening of the position of the Roma women in today's society.

Regarding the finished work, the Minister, Mr. Ahmedovski informed that after great efforts, around 20 projects have been gathered which are about improvement of the conditions of the communal and road infrastructure of the settlements where there's a majority of Roma citizens.

330.000 euros have been dispersed in 9 municipalities which will significantly improve the communal infrastructure as well as the safety of the living environment of the Roma population in these municipalities.
