As it was previously reported that the International Roma Union - IRU, whose president is Zoran Dimov, has received ECOSOC associate status in the United Nations.
In order to continue the activities of IRU and the cooperation with the UN and the offices in New York, Geneva and Vienna, IRO opens its offices in those cities composed of members of IRU delegates. In all these offices, seven IRU members are appointed to participate in events organized by the UN.
Earlier in New York, his ID card with ECOSOC number was registered by Anatoly Butakov, who together with Barry Fisher will oversee the office in New York, America.
Nowadays IRU Vice President Agus Demirovski has verified his associative membership and ID ECOSOS number in Geneva, Switzerland.
It is expected that these procedures will be completed in the office in Vienna, Austria.
It is clear from these acts that IRU as a Roma organization at the world level takes a very significant part in creating policies related to Roma from all meridians.
