Yesterday the city square of Kumanovo was the place of the international festival of brass orchestras "Roma Trumpet Fest". There were 8 orchestras at the festival and several singers from Macedonia and Serbia.

"The star of the night was the Orchestra Dzambo Agushev, one of the best in the world, and a special guest was the first trumpet of Gucha in 2016 as a solo trumpeter Hristijan Trajkovikj. The anthem 'Djelem, djelem' was sung by Mite Stoilov, this year's winner of 'Pink Stars'.

At the Festival were the orchestras of Darko Stankovikj from Surdulica, Isidor Zechevikj from Bojnik, Sasha Pavlovikj from Pirot, Uska Kan Kanturov from Berovo, Kemal Asanov from Strumica, then "Young Talents" from Shtip and Ferus from Mustafov from Skopje. There were performances from Stojne Nikolova, Martija Stanojkovikj and Goran Kukikj.

The organizers plan to hold the festival several days next year, taking example from the Serbian festival in Gucha, because there was great interest of orchestra participation, as well as from the crowd.

A new thing this year was the parade of the orchestra at the city streets from 16h. The Festival isn't a competition and is held and organized by the Kumanovo Municipality and with support from the Ministry of Culture.
