The Roma, and in particular the Roma, continue to be the most vulnerable and discriminated group in the BiH community. They are discriminated against in access to housing, health care, education and employment. Almost 95% are unemployed.
This is stated in reports on the human rights situation in BiH for 2019, published by the US State Department on Wednesday. It is a report where the US government prepares for states around the world and analyzes all the important aspects of the human rights situation.
A significant number of Roma in BiH are homeless or do not have access to water and electricity in their homes.
Most of their dwellings are overcrowded and have no evidence of ownership. Over 75% of them live segregated, the report said.
Otherwise it continues to implement the action plans for Roma for the period 2017-2020.
