On April 29, a tent of a Roma family was burned in Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv: it was burned to death with documents and telephones.
It is reported by the Public Radio with reference to the representative of the organization "Community of St. Aegidius" Vita Zinevich.
Together with volunteers, Zinevych delivers food to the homeless three times a week, including to the injured Roma family from Zakarpattia. When volunteers came to them on April 30 (Ruslana, his pregnant wife Angela, mother Ruslana and her husband), they saw a fire at the tent site, Zinevich said:
“We knew them for a month. They earned by handing over recycled materials collected in landfills. Now they are hungry because reception points do not work. Their tent is a variety of blankets and fabrics thrown on wooden supports. He stood on the site of an abandoned building, surrounded by a green fence.
There is another homeless woman in the house next to the house, who is assisted by volunteers. It was she who called the police and the fire department. "
