Tyson Fury has called on the Prime Minister to fight racism against travellers following an incident at a pub in Lancashire. The heavyweight world champion boxer called out a 'racist' pub in Lancashire for banning Travellers from entering earlier this week.
He shared recent footage from outside the Hurley Flyer pub in Morecambe in which a doorman refuses entry to two Traveller men, LancsLive reported on Monday. Tyson has since attempted to enlist Boris Johnson's help in a recent social media post as he attended a 'Travellers Lives Matter' outside the pub on Wednesday night. He joined with dozens of people for a 'peaceful' rally outside the pub before positing a video on Twitter with the message: "It's NOT OK to be racist to travellers." The 32-year-old said in the video: "I call out the Prime Minister. Where are you? You need to come to Morecambe and out the racists. Boris, where are you Boris?
