The Montenegrin Cultural Network - CKM apologized to members of the Roma and Egyptian communities following the campaign "Montenegro without divisions"

"After the communication that we managed to achieve with the president of the Roma Council, Mensur Shalya, we provided two young Roma with the needs of taking photos in connection with the campaign, as well as parts of the Roma costume," says the announcement of the CKM.

They emphasized that "they did not even think through that visual campaign in any way to hurt or discriminate"

It was announced after the meeting of the Board of Directors of their organization, which was held in Nikšić, where, as they say, they will analyze the public objections regarding their "Montenegro without divisions" campaign. The campaign of the project "Montenegro without divisions" caused reactions from most of the Roma, but also from other non-governmental organizations in Montenegro.

On that project, in the advertising campaign, all other nationalities on the poster were published in their traditional costumes, only the Roma were represented in orange overalls as the work clothes of the street hygienists - communal workers.
