The first Roma agricultural cooperative in the Kolubara area was founded in the village of Konjić near Osečina. The agricultural cooperative "Malinari" Konjic, which was established with the help of the consulting company GFA, within the framework of the program of the German Development Agency - GIZ "Inclusion of Roma and other marginalized groups in Serbia", brings together raspberry and blackberry growers, the portal writes. The director of the newly formed cooperative, Sinisa Muratovic, says that the fruit growers of this village received support for the establishment of a social enterprise - a cooperative. He notes that thanks to the implementation of this program, the cooperative received agricultural equipment, and farmers received training with mentoring support for fruit production.

"There is currently no active cooperative in our region. We wanted to join forces because we think that together we can do much more and better. We planned to improve our business during the next year, to develop a network of subcontractors, as well as to present ourselves at agricultural fairs and fruit festivals," says Muratovic.
