Today marks the commemoration of the Day of the Roma Holocaust (Samudaripen) August 2, organized by the Association Roma Business Information Center of Macedonia - ZRDICM and the Network for Systemic and Permanent Solutions, under the auspices of the Agency for Realizing the Rights of Communities in the RS . Macedonia in the Holocaust Memorial Center of the Jews of Macedonia, Skopje organizes an exhibition performance "Through the labyrinth of Roma history - the 5 rooms"
The opening speech was given by Zoran Dimov, the president of ZRDICM and coordinator of the Network for Systemic and Permanent Solutions.
Addresses were given to the invited guests by - Eran Kurtish - the Director of the Agency for Realizing the Rights of Communities, Mr. Muhammed Tochi - State Secretary at the Min. For Justice of RN Macedonia, Ljatifa Šikovska – Member of Parliament of RS. Macedonia, Elvis Memeti - Advisor in the Cabinet of the President of the RSM Government, Elvis Shaqiri - Romalitiko and Shenaj Osmanov from the Network for Systemic and Permanent Solutions and read the Declaration on August 2, the day of the Roma Holocaust
Then there was a small introduction to the documentary film about the Roma Holocaust from SP BTR Production by Zoran Dimov
Mr. Daniel Petrovski was the narrator and introduction for the Exhibition "Through the labyrinth of Roma history - the 5th rooms". At the end, the organizer prepared a small refreshment.
