About 15,000 enumerators will knock on the doors of every household in Serbia during October, carrying census forms with 69 questions. The population census involves the extensive collection of data on all the inhabitants of a country and is done in almost all countries of the world, usually every ten years.
It is "the most important source of individual data on the population and housing stock of a country and, therefore, represents the backbone of national statistics," according to the website of the Republic Statistical Office (RZS). In the conversation with Mr. Balć, we will focus on important issues related to the Roma community.
