The worst in Europe is Italy, where 368 people died last week, the highest number of deaths to date, with a total of 1809 dead, Reuters reports, citing 24,747 coronavirus cases.
Immediately behind Italy are Spain and France, where 7,753 people, or 5,423, are infected.
Spain killed 288 in Covid - 19 and 127 in France.
In the mainland on Sunday, 16 new cases were confirmed, while the previous day there were 20 new cases.
The total number of infected in China is 80,860 and 67,749 patients have been cured, the BBC reports.
In South Korea, 74 new cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 8,238.
The Japanese Ministry of Health said there are about 15 hotspots around the world.
The biggest hotspot is in Osaka, where it has infected more than 50,000 people. While Guatemala has the first death toll.
