After a detainee, infected with a coronavirus, died in the Skopje remand prison yesterday, panic messages from detainees arrive.

When asked if any of the others had symptoms, the detainee said:
"We are 70% with fever and cough, no one is examining us. In addition to the detainees, there are also convicts who have 10, 20 or 30 days left to serve their sentences but are not released, says our interlocutor.
During the day, other detainees wrote to us saying that they had expressed their revolt by saying that everyone was on their feet and knocking and breaking on the cells, and that they would announce a hunger strike tomorrow.
The prison authorities assure that all protection measures are being taken, and more details are announced for tomorrow or Monday.
The deceased detainee was 47 years old from Resen. He entered behind bars on March 8. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
