The event that took place two days ago in Cento has a political background and the Ministry of Interior is determined to act indiscriminately in relation to all those who encourage or disrespect the police hours, said yesterday at a press conference, Interior Minister Nake Chulev.
He referred in more detail to the protest of hundreds of citizens from Skopje's Cento, who gathered during a curfew to protest the arrest of three people who, according to police, did not respect the decision to restrict movement as a measure to protect against coronavirus.
"The political background does not justify this behavior and speaks of a tendentious threat to the citizens caused by political motives. "Citizens have consciously put themselves at risk that can cost us all dearly," Chulev said.
