Part of the hospital in Helsingborg was partially closed due to the large number of infected people among the staff, and the patients were transferred to another part of the institution.
Hospital director Harald Ross told Swedish "Sveriges radio" that the number of infected staff is a cause for concern, but they are following the guidelines for fighting the pandemic.
In Sweden, 2,586 people have died from the corona virus so far.
Swedish epidemiologist Anders Tegnel warned that the number could be much higher due to delays in reporting deaths.
