Gabriel Djordjevic (14), a Roma boy from Serbia, according to the portal bondyblog.fr
on the night of May 25-26, he was detained at a police station in the Paris suburb of Bondi. The family found him in a local hospital with head and face injuries. Doctors at the hospital are still struggling to save little Gabriel's sight. He also had three teeth broken.
The family is preparing a lawsuit against the IGPN police, according to the medical report.
The family says that on the critical night, Gabriel, who they emphasize is not a problematic child, did not show up at home until 11 pm, his mother thought he was out with his older brother together for dinner. At about 11 pm, when his older brother Sheriff returned home, he noticed that Gabriel's bed was empty.
Concerned, he went out to look for him in the city, because Gabriel himself did not go anywhere late at night.
On the night of the Bondi police station, the family was told that Gabriel had been detained for allegedly stealing a scooter. When his mother called this morning at 8 and 9 o'clock, no one answered from the police station on her phone.
It was later reported from the hospital that Gabriel had been hospitalized at their hospital.
He was admitted with traumatic injuries to his face and head, vomiting, three broken teeth and a fracture of the left maxillary bone.
In his statement, he stated that around 1:00 am his friend tried to steal a scooter, and that they noticed the police and started fleeing in two opposite directions. The police caught up with him and before arresting him, they first pushed him down, started hitting him in the face and beating him, and then they handcuffed him and arrested him.
Meanwhile, a peaceful protest of about 100 people took place in Bondi, regarding the case and the circumstances that preceded them and to tell the truth about this case.
