Due to the consequences of the coronavirus, the EU is helping the media in Serbia with 2.4 million euros

The European Union (EU) has provided € 2.4 million in grants to help the media cope with the effects of the coronavirus and continue to produce content at a time of great loss and challenge, FoNet reports.
The support will be provided during these 36 months and will be implemented by the European Fund for Democracy (EED).
The head of the EU delegation to Serbia, Ambassador Sam Fabrici, noted that "the media around the world have been trying to cope with new economic challenges and technological changes in recent years. "The COVID-19 pandemic, which affected almost all professions, further aggravated the situation in the media, especially those of a local nature," Fabrici said.
