The Ministry of Interior filed criminal charges against the police officer who brutally attacked a citizen in Bitola to the Prosecutor's Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption. He will be charged with harassment in the performance of his duties. The Ministry of Interior initiated disciplinary proceedings and suspension against the same police officer, as well as the police officer who did not stop his colleague while brutally beating a citizen.
The Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski did not say until when these police officers will be suspended from work.
"The Ministry of Interior strongly condemns any case of violence, especially when it was committed by a police officer and it is sanctioned and must continue to be severely sanctioned. "No such act can be justified," Spasovski said.
