The Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Jagoda Shahpaska, participated in the Ministerial Meeting "Roma Integration" in Tirana, Republic of Albania, through a video address through which she conveyed the main messages related to the topic of the Ministerial Meeting.
She emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia through the line ministries implements Projects and prepared Legal solutions in solving the problems and achieving certain goals such as: education, employment, adoption of the Law on persons not registered in the Birth Register, the pilot project for Integration of Roma 2020 which is currently being implemented in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, and it is planned to prepare a Methodology for establishing an appropriate mechanism for monitoring and reporting on Roma integration policies, through policies for monitoring the achievements defined in the Declaration, including the State Office for statistics.
Additionally, this methodology will be in accordance with the Survey on Roma conducted by the European Agency for Fundamental Rights in EU member states, but also in Northern Macedonia and Serbia - said Minister Shahpaska.
