The team for Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction from the Government of the Republic of Serbia (SIPRU) published the book “Romology”, which presents the tendency of its author Rajko Djuric to promote this important interdisciplinary field.
Romology is also implied for the Roma and as well as for the non-Roma community. Besides the terminologies, definitions and the development of the Romology as a scientific subject, it also reviews the culture, identity, history (where a big part is taken by the Holocaust of the Roma), grammar and standardization of the Romani language. Dr. Rajko Djuric was a renowned fighter for Roma rights and a writer, publicist and one of the best connoisseurs of the history of the Roma people, culture and language.
