A year ago, on February 14, 16-year-old Lyudmil from the Roma settlement "Fakulteti" with his father, walking on the sidewalk, stepped on a bare cable that was on the street. Passers-by, his father, and later doctors failed to save him.
According to the father, the tragedy happened in seconds. Meanwhile, it is still unknown who owned the shaft and the cables that caused the boy's death. Almost 24 hours after the tragedy, the institutions blamed each other for the death.
Under the direction of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, a preliminary investigation is underway into causing death due to ignorance or negligent practice of a profession or other legally regulated activity.
The mayor of the Triadica area, Dimitar Bozilov, formed a working group of experts, who inspected the scene of the incident. They also have photos. The data from this inspection will be submitted to the investigating authorities. This was announced by the district administration.
