This year, on May 25, the curtain falls on the International Roma Film Festival "Golden Wheel 2021" organized by SP BTR Production.
The awards ceremony for the most successful film achievements will take place at the Cinematheque of Northern Macedonia
The Award Committee of the Festival Jury has decided how the Grand Prix will be awarded to the documentary "Prisoners' Rights" directed by Nedzip Umer.
The other awards by category are the following: Best Direction "Roma Spirit" - Republic of Ireland, Best Music "Behind the Flamenco Dress" - Spain, Contribution to the Roma Strategy: "Learning Together 1/2" Serbia, Best Screenplay:
"Mapping the Differences in Housing among Roma" - RS Macedonia and Best Documentary: "Blueberries", Latvia
At the same time, three plaques were awarded to children students from the elementary school "Braka Ramiz and Hamid" in the category "One-minute video". The screening of the film program was online, and was financially supported by the Film Fund of RS Macedonia.
