When the first vaccines against the coronavirus were made, there were no information or debates whether they could be mixed when taking the second dose.
There is no evidence for the fear that the combination of the vaccines against the coronavirus – getting the first dose from one manufacturer, and the second dose from another is dangerous, says the AGI Agency, which quotes the words of the advisor of the Commissioner for Emergency Situatuins, Guid Rasi.
“On the contrary, the mix of vaccines can only increase the anti-bodies. As an example, those who are immunized with one dose of AstraZeneca, and then get the Moderna or Phizer vaccine, this combination develops more anti-bodies”, claims Rasi who was an executive director of the European Pharma Agency (EPA).
