On Saturday, April 30, the curtain of this year's Jubilee 20th Roma Film Festival "Golden Wheel 2022" will be lowered in the Cinematheque of Macedonia. At the solemn ceremony in the enriched program part, the recognitions and thanks will be given to all those who were part of the festival days in the competition and show day. As every year, this organizer is SP BTR Production and the director of the festival Zoran Dimov, with financial assistance from the Film Agency of R.North Macedonia and this year in that part were supported by the city of Skopje. The film program, which started on April 26 and lasted until April 29 at the Cinematheque of Macedonia, was preceded by several several-day film workshops for making one-minute videos for primary school children, for which the three most successful will receive plaques and awards. At the same time, a three-week workshop for making youth videos was organized, at which all the made videos will be broadcast and awarded, and the visitors of the workshop will be awarded certificates. The workshops were led by prominent filmmakers Darko Basevski and Marija Dzidzeva. At the same time, in the hotel "Bon Bon" in Skopje, a Round Table on the topic "Roma in the film art" is organized, which was attended by prominent filmmakers from the Republic of Northern Macedonia and the Republic of Turkey, Serbia, Hungary, Kosovo and Spain. On the day of the solemn ceremony, there will be a short musical performance where famous songs will be performed, leading music tracks from several famous film achievements where the light motif is Roma. Otherwise, at the solemn ceremony, the most successful film achievements for this year will be awarded in the following categories: Award for the youngest actor - Alexei Petrovski. Award for contribution to the Roma community - Project series "Support for Cooperation", from Hungary. Award for Preservation of Lasting Values - "Roma in Serbia - Saban Bajramovic". Republic of Serbia Production: Media and Reform Center Nis (MRCN) For the best screenplay, - "The Great Review 1749" - Spain. In the category of best music the winner is - Romanlar: Serdar Mahallesi İzmit - from the Republic of Turkey. For the best direction, it was decided that the award would go to Gjokcin Dokumaci for the documentary "Kovan" - Republic of Turkey. As the overall winner or Grand Prix of the Festival, he won the film "Dance in this chaos" - directed by Murat Жerka from the Republic of Northern Macedonia. At the end of the festival, a festive cocktail is planned for all present guests.
