As the authors and producers of the documentary, the Chaplin family decided to take this step for the first time.
They emphasize that this documentary "radically re-presents the works of Charlie Chaplin from the perspective of the Roma and through that object goes deep into the topic of how the persecution of the Roma.
A documentary focusing on the Roma roots of film legend Charlie Chaplin, the circumstances of his birth and childhood, and how Roma culture influenced his art. Above all, the film offers a unique view of Chaplin's life and films, but also glorifies Roma culture, tradition and language. Although many are unaware of his origins, Chaplin himself did not hide in his autobiography the fact that his parents were of Roma descent.
