The family of 40-year-old KadrieJashar from Skopje, who died of bleeding, claims that the mother did not have any problems in pregnancy, nor bleeding until the moment she came to the Gynecology Clinic due to labor pains.
They want an explanation why, as they say, the gynecologist who received her and gave her Ce-Te-Ge told her to go home and come back in two hours because it was still early for delivery.
"There were three of us with her. We left after the gynecologist told her to leave and come back in two hours because only two fingers were open. She had no problems, and we went to the Gynecology because the labor pains started. When we arrived at the entrance to SutoOrizari, she started bleeding profusely and we immediately went back.
She was hospitalized that afternoon, around 4:30 p.m. "At 8:30 pm, they called us to come because, as they told us, she is in critical condition," her nephew FejzulaJasharov told NOVA.
The GAK confirmed that the woman underwent a caesarean section, and after that due to heavy bleeding, another intervention was performed when the uterus was removed. The baby was alive during the first examination and Ce-Te-Ge was made, and when she returned she was dead. But, contrary to the family's claim, the GAK says that the gynecologist told her to sit outside and come back in an hour and a half.
The family is in shock. She went to give birth, and the deceased was returned. They want the whole case to be investigated and given an explanation as to why they were not given the findings of the first Ce-Te-Ge when they requested it. Why didn't the gynecologist who received and performed the intervention appear before them, but another doctor told them about the death.
"We also want to investigate why the gynecologist let her go home, with the explanation that it is too early to give birth and to return later. Why don't they give us the first Ce-Te-Ge where it can be seen that the baby was alive. "What happened in the meantime, why was there such heavy bleeding?" Said Fejzula, speaking on behalf of the family.
An autopsy was not performed because the family wanted to take his body. However, the legislation is clear and decisive in such cases, that the autopsy is mandatory.
Kadrie left behind four children, not six as originally said by doctors. She did not know about this fifth pregnancy until the fifth month. Fejzula says that the now deceased mother-in-law has been to a gynecologist three times, once in Cair, to John F. Kennedy and twice in Cento to the doctor who until a few years ago was a gynecologist in SutoOrizari. After she left, the women in this municipality were again left without a registered gynecologist.
The family claims that everything was fine with the pregnancy until the moment of giving birth at the Gynecology. They say that the results from the blood were good and as the doctor told her, she did not need to take drugs against blood clots.
"They told us she was carrying a healthy baby girl and that they were OK with the pregnancy and the blood," said the relatives of the deceased mother.
The GAK believes that she died due to a defect with a blood clot, as a result of which the bedding probably separated and that the doctors did everything necessary. However, they announced that an internal commission would investigate the case.
The State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate also announced that today it will start with an extraordinary inspection, first at the family gynecologist and the family doctor, and then at the Gynecology Clinic.
