Harsha (590-647), known as Harshavardhan, is the first Indian king who seems to have Roma origins. He was the leader of the Kingdom in Northern India from 600 to 647 year, whose center was in Tanesar (East Punjab – today’s Hariyana), and then in Kanauj (Utar Pradesh) and symbolizes the end of the period of the ancient and a beginning of middle age India.
Harsha gained respect and built authority in the battles against the White Huns. He was made famous by the successful solution in the clan conflicts, which were always present in the north of India. Due to those reasons, he became a Buddhist and enabled Kanausi to become a Buddhist Center. The state which we created was made in a centralistic model. The tragic family event whose causes were political and the win of the South Indian king Pulakeshin II (610 – 642), who entered in Malva, a region of special historical significance, causing shock and disbelief in the kingdom.
