The municipality of Suto Orizari and its citizens are facing one of the toughest challenges in the past decade. Due to the retirement of several family doctors, around 4000 citizens of the municipality are left without a doctor. Besides the adults, around 1200 children are left without a doctor as well. Additionally, several other doctors are preparing to retire. Does this mean that Shuto Orizari will remain without family doctors?...
The Ministry of Health, Health Center Skopje and the Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia have long been silent in finding a solution to this problem, which is getting bigger and bigger as each day passes.
That is why IRIZ is carefully watching over this problem and in order to help our citizens, sent a demand to the aforementioned institutions for the immediate solution of this problem, the demand is supported by 11 Partner Organizations.
A series of activities are predicted in the future in order to bring light to this problem and to attempt to solve it, although this is a process which is expected to last a little longer…
