As a commitment to better education with an emphasis on the children of the Roma community from the Republic of Northern Macedonia, the Advisor for Roma Inclusion in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Elvis Memeti together with MP Latifa Shikovska and ZRDICM President Zoran Dimov initiated an online meeting with the Roma NGO sector, activists and team leaders. At the meeting was presented the idea to start activities in the field of education for better inclusion of Roma children in that process. More attention was paid to the idea for starting the campaign - "Every Roma child at school" and the initiative for "Pedagogical Assistants". These activities have the same goal and that is better education for Roma children in primary schools. Zoran Dimov as a provider briefly explained the profile of the activity Pedagogical Assistant in accordance with the verified program of activity in the ESA in accordance with the active measure for activation of the labor market - Training for required occupations, as well as the need for "Pedagogical Assistants" who have full support from the MLSP, the Employment Agency, the Ministry of Education and Science and the local self-governments. In the coming days, the directions of the activities will be defined and at the same time this activity was positively accepted by all present with the promise that they will take an active part in these processes. The campaign - every Roma child at school will be supported by NGOs and activists and educational mediators on a door-to-door basis to promote opportunities and enable enrollment of all children in schools, including children from parents who do not yet have birth certificate and are part of the category of undocumented persons. All stakeholders can be included in this campaign, for that purpose they are considering opening a telephone line at the level of the municipalities in the NGO or in the schools where an unregistered child could register in order to further review the measures. for registration with the competent institutions.
