In the intensified activities of mobile teams, 167 children were identified on the street

These are part of the data that the strengthened mobile teams for dealing with street children at the CSW Skopje were presented at a working meeting in the Minister of Labor and Social Policy, where the representative of UNICEF Benjamin Perks and representatives of the Red Cross of the City of Skopje were present.

"Initial findings from field research confirm that street children are often victims of more negative experiences, including physical and psychological abuse and neglect. They reinforce the need for systemic solutions, as many of these children miss the right to education, health and protection, "said
Benjamin Perks, UNICEF Representative.

"As people, it's hard to refrain from giving money or buying products from children on the street. But, we should be aware that if we do that, we will create an environment that hurts children. Children in the street need it systemic support, first and foremost, to prevent them from ending up on the street at all. "

Starting next week, field workers will visit the homes of children who have identified them on the streets and will begin working with families.
Enlargement and strengthening of mobile teams with professional staff is supported by UNICEF and implemented through CSW Skopje in cooperation with the Red Cross of the City of Skopje.

To stand up against the protest march of the right-wingers of Hungary, starting on May 21 this year

In Hungary on May 21 a protest march of the far-right right-handers from Hungary organized by the right-wing organization of Betrayal Sereg is announced.

Otherwise they will use that march to put their theory against the so-called. "Roma Crime", "Roma Terror" and the like.

There is no such thing in Hungary, but it is about "individual criminal acts that have no closeness with the generalization of a whole minority.
Otherwise, we also recall that in Hungary there is a law, a legal system and competent institutions that need to solve these tasks, that is, the police, and not through some paramilitary and illegal party police and groups.

At the same time, the International Roma Union - IRU, headed by its President Zoran Dimov, sends an appeal to the Hungarian Government to abide by its legal obligations to protect citizens, including the Roma community in Hungary.
