Zbogar: Roma who sneak into the streets entered the EC report

We have to trample our sleeves, keep working together and see how we can best use what we have at our disposal right now, and we have a dedicated government, we have new energy among the young Roma leaders in the country and we have EU assistance.

This triangle is a good start. Let's make a difference, to improve the situation, said Evorambador Samuel Zbogar.

- The real work for the inclusion of Roma is not yet over, but it is ahead of us. The cycle of poverty, discrimination and exclusion of Roma still exists - said Zbogar.

He pointed out some of the existing problems that have also been noted in the latest EC annual report on the state.

These are Roma who are roaming in the streets, Roma children who are not at school, Roma living in inhumane conditions, illegally inhabited places, without identity cards, searched after the waste. There are still juvenile marriages and other forms of discrimination.

Zbogar informs that at the moment they finalize the selection of students and students who will receive scholarships for primary education, prepare and grant a program for better infrastructure in Roma settlements.

French Interior Minister Manuel Valls blames the Roma

Wals says the only solution is expulsion and connects the ethnic minority with begging and delinquency

Half a year before, during the municipal European elections in the spring of 2014, Roma became the main issue of icolateral damage to the failure of social policy.

Interior Minister Manuel Valls defended the illegal camps of Roma from Bulgaria and Romania that came to France and currently live around 5,000 to 20,000 Roma - who are planning their expulsion.

"The Roma want to return to Romania or Bulgaria," Wals said, adding, without hinting at the irony, that the authorities of these two countries should make "greater efforts to integrate them."

The test census started on June 10 and will last until June 30

Since June 10, a trial census has begun in our country that will last until June 30 and will be implemented in 13 municipalities. This trial census was supposed to be a kind of simulation of the main inventory to be held in April next year. It will check how all the instruments are functioning for the successful implementation of this largest statistical operation.

"It will serve us to see if we are on the right track, which needs to be improved, that needs to be corrected, so that next year we can be seriously, professionally prepared for the successful implementation of this truly the largest statistical operation", stressed Jasmina Gjorgjieva, coordinator of the Department for Dissemination and Public Relations.

The Bureau of Statistics calls on the citizens to trust the enumerators in such a way to help with the realization of the census. The basic requirement for someone to enlist is to show a document on which his ID number will be displayed.

Also, one of the novelties is that this time will be enumerated and people who have moved abroad. Therefore, it appeals to citizens who are included in the census circles for the trial census, and next year for the main census, if they have persons from the family who are abroad, if they can provide ID numbers, in that case they will be able to censor.

For those who are abroad, for the main census next year was envisaged self-recording, via an electronic web application. The results of this trial census will not be published anywhere, they will only be used for the needs of the Office.

Otherwise, the trial census will be conducted in Kisela Voda, Zelenikovo, Gostivar, Kichevo, Struga, Dolneni, Sveti Nikole, Radovish, Valandovo, Kumanovo, Kratovo, Prilep and Shtip.

The Egyptians persistently seek to be part of the preamble of the Macedonian Constitution

When, some 40 years ago, several Macedonian citizens said they were Egyptians, that they were not Roma, Albanians or Turks ..., that they had their own unique identity and that it was time for this country to start taking care of them, the reaction was - where now this?

But they formed an association and, persevering in their mission, entered into the story of a human rights struggle, minority rights, and state care. Today, one of them is already an MP in the Macedonian Parliament, where a law should soon be adopted in which the Egyptians will receive their national holiday.

One million Egyptians live in the Balkans, according to representatives of their civic associations in Macedonia. And Greece, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina The Egyptians are identifying them with the Roma.

But, they say, it's not so, we will continue to fight those stereotypes and discrimination.

The Egyptians in the Balkans came as colonists to excavate and exploit metals in the 13th century BC. They belong to the family of Semitic-Hamiti nations, and they spoke in ancient Egyptian language, which is now lost.
