Mirsad Secic, 27, was imprisoned in Zagreb's Remetnica prison where he was brought to comatose at the Rebro hospital in Zagreb during a Catholic Christmas Eve where he died two days later.
The family of the prisoner Secic say he was beaten up, but the prison administration denies it and says the prisoner got sick and was immediately taken to Zagreb's Rebro hospital where he died two days later.
Investigating authorities ordered the body's autopsy to determine the cause of Mirsad's death.
Otherwise, Mirsad was convicted of the incident at a hospital where he broke his inventory and threatened to kill two doctors over the death of his father.
