Where did the money from the funds intended for the Roma go?

When marking Human Rights Day - December 10, it is time to point out what has been achieved in this field, about everything that has been done so far and what is the challenge facing countries and society. These are problems that have been unresolved for many years for the Roma who live in those countries and are in front of everyone, but do not live with them.
It is necessary to change the overall picture for those people who face difficult living conditions, lack of water, electricity, food. Huge funds arrive for these situations, mostly from EU funds. They arrived but the question is how realistically it was implemented exactly by those who need it the most. Administrative procedures take up a lot of those funds, and the Roma themselves are not sufficiently trained to implement those projects on their own.
And that is why the smallest part of the funds reaches those who need it the most, and it is necessary for that moment to change, say the experts on these conditions. As long as this is the case, the picture on the ground will remain unchanged.

They were the masters of the Roma weddings, Zlata and Peja earned and from the earnings they paid 4 singers and an orchestra!

In the past, a lot of "dust" arose in connection with a Roma wedding in Rome where Ceca and Aca Lucas sang. According to some media, the organizer of that wedding cashed in 650,000 euros! Only a luxury rental villa in Rome (near the Colosseum), food and drink cost 300,000 euros. They set aside 15,000 euros for the 5-storey cake. The accommodation of the guests cost 20,000 euros, for the singers the accommodation 6,000 euros, the musicians cost 230,000 euros, the plane tickets 20.000 euros and others. Ceca and Lucas received 50.000 euros for the performance. Todorovic also sang 30,000 euros at the wedding, Keba, Sherif Konjevic and Enes Begovic 20,000 euros each, and Nadica Ademov and Aleksandra Bursac 15,000 euros each.
However, a former musical couple was the most popular at those Roma weddings where they made a lot of money. They are Zoran Pejic - Peja and Zlata Petrovic. The popular Peja says: “Zlata and I were the biggest attraction and the highest paid at the Roma festivities when we were married. We earned more than Saban Saulic. "At those festivities, we led an entire orchestra with three or four singers, because we earned a lot and we paid them," Peja is honest.

Novi Sad: Twenty members of the Tatar family remain on the street due to the demolition of their house

On all sides, 56-year-old Sabit Tatar from Novi Sad is asking for help. According to him, from October 26, he and the other 4 families will stay on the street. That is a number of about 20 members.
As Mr. Tatari himself says, his father bought 1 hectare of land in 1977, for which he has a Purchase Agreement. He has been living in his house, which has already been demolished, for 43 years.
The story began 17 years ago when a natural person bought a plot of 1 hectare near it. But after a while, Sabit's plot was transferred to the name of the second owner. Who currently owns 3 hectares. Sabit asks how it is possible after 17 years of dragging the courts to make a decision to demolish the house, a decision that is not yet final.
He also addressed a letter and emails to Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and President Aleksandar Vucic, but there has been no response from there yet.

One street in Leskovac will be named after the hero of the Kumanovo battle - Ahmet Ademovic

October 23 marks 108 years since the famous battle of Kumanovo. On that occasion, the mayor of the town of Leskovac, Serbia Goran Cvetanovic said that for the great of this battle Ahmet Ademovic, the symbol of heroism and freedom, which changed the course of history, deserves to be remembered by future generations. Therefore, in the coming period, a street will be renamed after Ahmet Ademovi..
That battle took place during the First Balkan War in 1912 near Kumanovo between the Serbian and Turkish armies. Many heroes were born in the war between 1912 and 1918. One of them is the forgotten hero Ahmet Ademovic, a Roma soldier and trumpet player from Leskovac.
His feat and heroism is the brilliant feat of this soldier. During this battle, as a trumpet player of the Serbian army, he joined the enemy ranks and opened trumpet signs for withdrawal. After this sound, the confused Turkish army started withdrawing. He then imperceptibly returned to the ranks of the Serbian army and began playing the assault sign.
This risky and above all triumphant move was one of the key factors for the victory of the Serbs in this battle, and that is why Ahemt Ademovi беше was awarded the Karadjordjeva star with swords, for which he was so proud that he did not take it off his lapel until his last day of life.
