"Calimero has no justice" died, DUI announced employment for 640 Albanians in the administration. Roma are now the black sheep in "One Society for All"

According to information from some media, an announcement for employment of Albanians in the administration is expected to be published next week, say party sources from DUI,
The competition that is being prepared envisages employment of a total of 800 administrators, of which 640 will be Albanians and 160 from other ethnic communities.
Knowing the current practice of employment in the state administration where Roma with the 2002 census are about 2.6 percent, but employment in the administration is just under 1%, it is expected that the most optimistic to employ a maximum of those "resto 160 administrators" if there are 10 Roma will need to be celebrated with torches and fireworks.
If according to the "Morning the day is known" and according to what the Roma have received so far from this coalition (read: leading positions in the legislature and the executive) it will really be a real "lottery seven" if there are a dozen Roma employees administrators.
This is the real reflection of the bargaining power of the Roma representatives from the government for positioning and pursuing the interests of the Roma community in the country.
If earlier in that "basket" there was chase and reactions by other nationalities and ethnic communities, and the standard "Calimero has no justice" when it came to the Albanian community in the country, now times have changed and Calimero is no longer disenfranchised, but a driver of all policies in the country. Bravo Calimero, you are not a black chicken with an egg white shell on your head now. You are a gentleman now!
And we Roma? Where are we? We were and are that black sheep from the Pink Panther cartoon. Marked, imperceptible and satisfied with a little grass for grazing. And so on indefinitely. Or the folk one. While one eats only meat and the other only cabbage - the average is sarma! And that we must admit - a very strong average!
For us Roma, the following applies: “Let the people lean on cabbage without meat! It is important for the stomach to digest something, and what is digested does not matter. Get a job!

Serbia: Why are we indifferent while brutally beating the Roma?

In early October, a Roma couple were beaten on a bus. The torture would not have been known if a girl on FB had not shared this case as traumatic. None of the passengers on the bus helped those people. And according to all indications, the reason for the attack was only because they are Roma.
The attacks on Roma in the society pass somehow imperceptibly, or with very small fines, and in this case there are all elements of hatred and the institutions need to react, said the president of the Roma League and longtime activist Osman Balic.
- It is a fact that there are attacks much more frequent than what we hear or see. Even Roma organizations are confused by the amount of violence. Attacks with motives of hatred and intolerance are consequences of the social context and environment in which we live. We have attacks that seriously need to be dealt with by institutions such as the prosecution, the judiciary and the police. But they do not take anything, so they give xenophobes and thugs the wind in their backs, because they know that the sanctions are minimal, and most of them do not exist - says Balic.

BiH: OSCE Mission Supports Stop! Hate speech "

From October 16 to November 16 within the campaign "Stop! Stop!" Hate speech "will be recorded and analyzed by the comments of the users of 15 Web sites in BiH," the OSCE said in BiH.
- Hate speech and discriminatory rhetoric is not freedom of speech, but its abuse, which can be criminally liable. The role of the editors is to remove comments that contain hate speech, discrimination, threats from websites, and also in extreme cases to cooperate with the police and the prosecution to reveal the identity of the person who abuses freedom of speech - said the executive director of the BiH Press Committee Jenana Burek.
Stressing the fact that the use of hate speech has increased on internet portals in recent years, the head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Kathleen Kavalec, said that together they could fight the spread of such views, which incite intolerance and conflict in local community.
- We call on all parties to refrain from using offensive or degrading language and speeches that contribute to divisions. The use of such rhetoric is very dangerous - said Kavalec.

Some European officials have used the pandemic to discriminate against Roma

According to human rights activists, local authorities in several European countries with large Roma populations have used discriminatory measures and acted illegally against that minority group under the pretext of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. As the number of people infected with the virus rises again in Europe, some experts fear that repression will return. Roma communities in Bulgaria were sprayed with disinfectant from crop dusting aircraft at the start of a pandemic last spring. Roma villages in Slovakia were the only places where the army conducted tests and patrols armed with automatic rifles. In Roma settlements across Central and Eastern Europe, where police carried out quarantine measures, there were growing reports that police used excessive force against Roma. Activists say the situation is exacerbated by the fact that such discrimination is not often condemned by other Europeans, and Roma are reluctant to talk about it for fear of repercussions. Strict measures have been taken in Roma communities, although there have never been a large number of reported cases among them, showing how some governments have used the pandemic as an excuse for repressive tactics.
In many European countries, the spread of the infection among Roma is not being monitored, but Slovak authorities said at the end of the summer that there were 179 cases of infection in Roma settlements, home to more than 500,000 Roma. In an open letter in May, two UN human rights activists called on the Bulgarian government to end police operations related to the pandemic in Roma settlements and to prevent hate speech against the minority, after the party leader described their communities as "nests of infection". “. Roma have been targeted by officials in other European countries as well.
