Romani kickboxer Václav Sivák unequivocally wins the Oktagon Underground MMA fight in a packed O2 Arena in the Czech Republic

Kickboxing's world champion, Václav Sivák, clearly defeated Jonas Magarda of Denmark at the Oktagon Underground event in front of a crowded O2 arena in Prague, Czech Republic over the weekend; the opponents went hard at each other verbally in the runup to the match, with Magard not sparing any attacks on Sivak. "Jonas had nothing to show for himself," said “Bad Boy” Sivák after his victory.

"I expected more from him, given how he was talking. I don't like people who say something and don't keep their word," Sivák said after the match.

"It gets on my nerves that I didn't knock him out," Sivák also said. It was his first match in front of so many spectators.

"I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was unreal, it was my first experience of so many people in the stands," Sivák said at the post-match press conference.

"The O2 Arena is something else," the young kickboxer told the media. During the evening's main match, leading Czech MMA wrestler Karlos Vemola defeated singer Otakar Peřina, aka "Marpa", in the exhibition boxing

The football player of Roma origin, the meeting with Novak Djokovic motivates him to succeed more: "I dreamed of a French national team jersey, and because of Djokovic I understood everything!"

Téji Tedy Savanier (30) today is considered the famous football player of Roma origin in the   world, and talks about how to get to the matches against the best.

The central midfielder and captain of the famous French club Montpellier told details of his life, but also how he realized that he succeeded in life due to the meeting with Novak Djokovic. At that moment he concluded that his life had changed!

The great football player is proud of his Roma origin and seems to be even happier because of his personal success when he knows that he can "pull" the whole community by example.

"For the whole time of my career I live in the neighborhood where I am. When I leave the field, I go to the neighborhood where I spent my childhood. I visit relatives, grandparents, wife and children. I'm proud of that way of life. For the Roma from my neighborhood, I am not a "famous football player Savanier ", but only Teji a boy from the neighborhood. They ask me how it is with football, what are the transfers, so I tell them everything. I feel proud while representing them.

He is 30 years old and still has a dream to be called up to the French national team, and last summer he had the opportunity to feel part of that atmosphere. After an impressive Montpellier shirt, he became one of three players over the age of 23 to travel to the Tokyo Olympics.

They were eliminated in the group stage, but that tournament changed his life.

"It was a completely crazy experience, something I could not even imagine. I had lunch with Novak Djokovic. "If I could repeat something like that, I would accept it without a doubt."

His performances for the national team affect not only his career, but also the overall image of Roma that Teжиi wants to change.

"We all know that the Roma community is perceived negatively. When Gypsies are mentioned, what do you think? Chicken thieves, savages who would never let them into the house ... We spend a lot of time outside, but that is our way of life. As in any community, there are good and bad people. I am a good Roma, known for my work and I try to change my image as a Roma. The neighborhood I live in is "dangerous" and many do not understand what I live there. "In a way, I am the spokesperson for all Roma in France and I am proud to represent them."

Serbia: Roma from Bosilegrad do not want to be Bulgarians

The Bulgarian national minority is the largest in the municipality of Bosilegrad. That statistic also includes Roma who live there, but do not want to be Bulgarians anymore.

Through the mountains and lakes on the way to Bosilegrad in the extreme south of Serbia, on the border with Bulgaria. Small place, narrow streets, several cafes, several shops and municipal buildings. Villages scattered around the hills. Two kilometers away is the settlement of Lalos. According to locals, it is the largest ghetto in southern Serbia. Roma live here.

Some of the 300 residents of Lalos live in tin containers, and some in houses, but without water, baths and sewers, many without electricity.

Bosilegrad has about 7,000 inhabitants, mainly the Bulgarian national minority.

Vladimir Zahariev is the president of the municipality of Bosilegrad. He says that he does not see that there is a problem with the residents of Lalos and lists everything that the municipality has done for the settlement. Regarding the census, he says that the locals of Lalos even asked him how he would declare himself: "They could declare themselves as they wished. There are as many as seven or eight Eskimos in Bosilegrad. This means that they too can express themselves as they wish. They asked me: "How will you declare yourself President?", And I said: "I am a Bulgarian, all my great-grandparents are Bulgarians." Then they shouted: "We are Bulgarians too", says Zahariev.

And then he adds more officially: "At the next census, it would be good for our neighbors, with whom we have been living all these years, to declare themselves as Roma, as we declare ourselves as Bulgarians. Let them declare, but literally everyone if they want as Roma. Together with them, as we have lived so far, we will live even better. "We will work on projects together and we will have a better chance to get projects in Europe if they declare themselves as Roma," Zahariev is sure.

Roma activists from Serbia claim that in Serbia Roma are used for various manipulations. In addition, it is stated that, according to the data, there are between 400,000 and 500,000 Roma in Serbia, while officially the Statistical Office writes: 148,000 Roma. According to them, this difference is a consequence of numerous manipulations, among which he states the prevention of closing schools in the villages, but also much more serious things.

His parents Ramadan and Almira say that they noticed their son's love for music from an early age, so they enrolled him in the Lower Music School. There Mert himself chose to play the clarinet.

"Mert is a very talented boy. From a young age, he wanted to be a football player, so he trained in the Bitola football club "Talent 2010", in two matches, one in Prilep, and the other in Greece, scoring goals, bringing the victory in Prilep. "Then we noticed that he was attracted to art, especially music, and his dedication can be seen through the awards he wins."

Last year, he got a role in a movie that consisted of leading a dog that had special tasks, so he did well in acting. As a young boy he has many dreams, and obviously this young artist is talented in many areas.
