Bizarre Czech mixed martial arts pay-per-view program "Clash of the Stars" features fighter with criminal record who spouts antigypsyist rhetoric

Jaroslav Kotlár, founder of the firm Kotlár Security, had posted the following to Facebook :  "Hi. Greetings to all my friends out there. Is there anybody here who could help arrange a match with this fool, please Filip Grznár . Grznár refused the challenge as follows: "I'd like to respond here to the challenge from Mr. Kotlár because everybody keeps sending it to me like crazy... I'm not interested. Friends, I'll be 40 in two years, or almost three. I cannot fight, I refuse to fight somebody whose IQ is the same as that. It's just not possible."

I'm ending it now. I will not be fighting any cigáni, it's just not possible because it keeps being used against me," the bodybuilder said.

Grznár has previously been convicted of committing violence against a group or its individual members and for approving of a crime because he publicly expressed opinions that were racist, for which he was fined CZK 15,000 [EUR 610]. More than three years ago he made a video of himself approving of the murder of a Romani man on a Chomutov housing estate and threatening to massacre other Romani people.

Zarko Jovanović - Jagodino, the creator of the Roma anthem "Djelem, Djelem"

"Gelem, Gelem" is a song composed by Žarko Jovanović, often used as the anthem of the Romani people. The title has been adapted in many countries by local Roma to match their native orthography and spoken dialect of the Romani language. Some of the song's many titles include.

In an interview with reporter Mike Kalezić, Jovanović himself titled the song "Opre Roma".

After experiencing firsthand the incarceration of Roma during the Porajmos (the Romani Holocaust of World War II), Jovanović later composed the lyrics of "Gelem, Gelem" and set them to a traditional melody in 1949. The song was first adopted by delegates of the first World Romani Congress held in 1971.

Three young Roma are promoting Bitola with their high achievements

Sonita Fejsovska, Oran Jasharovski and Arhan Aslanoski are three young Bitol residents of Roma nationality, who, with their talent, quality and diligence, achieve high results, break taboos, and through the promotion of high values, promote the city in which they live.

The mayor of the municipality of Bitola, Toni Konjanovski, realizing the high results achieved by these young people in sports and education, organized a joint meeting at which he congratulated them on their successes, encouraging them to continue upgrading, to progress and thus to to be promoters of Bitola, but also to successfully continue building their future.

At the meeting with the mayor, Sonita Fejsovska, told her story how the once distant possibility of one day being a student, after much persistence and thanks to her ambition and clear vision, today led her to graduate from the Faculty of Education, the first of a generation with an average of 9 ,80.

Oran Jasharovski, as a member of the "Kumanovo 84" boxing club, won this year's trophy at the "Miroslav Petrovic" International Boxing Tournament, which was held in Kumanovo for the second time.
