The leader of the Democratic Party of Serbia, Milos Jovanovic, will be from the NADA (DSS-POKS) coalition. However, this is not a final list and more candidacies are expected.

Who was Che Guevara?

Ernesto Guevara (June 14, 1928 - October 9, 1967) or Che (Spanish: Che) was a Marxist revolutionary and one of the leaders of the Cuban Revolution.

Guevara was one of the key figures in Fidel Castro's revolution in Cuba (1956-1959) as a member of the July 26 movement.

After the victory in the revolution, he was active for several years in promoting revolutionary societies, traveling the world as a Cuban diplomat, and then personally engaged in liberation from dictatorial regimes, first in the Congo and then in Bolivia.

In Bolivia, in collaboration with the Central Intelligence Agency and the Bolivian military, he was captured and killed the next day. His image as a fighter for the liberation of the victims of imperialism, even today, decades after his death, is presented as one of the main symbols and icons of social and political revolutions around the world. As a staunch military leader and fully committed to his revolutionary cause with moral authority over his troops, he remained a controversial figure of great historical significance.

Time magazine named Che Guevara one of the 20 greatest world icons and heroes in their list of the 100 most influential people in the world in the 20th century. The famous photograph of Guevara, taken by Alberto Korda, was named the most famous photograph in the world and a symbol of the twentieth century by the Maryland Academy of Arts.

Ukrainian Roma in defense of the homeland, side by side with compatriots

The Roma are also among the Ukrainian soldiers fighting against the Russian army, said Viktor Chovka, a reporter from the Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod, who confirmed this fact to Swedish radio Romano. Chovka said that he is now returning from England to join his family in Ukraine, reports the portal Newipe.

He noted that there are many Roma soldiers in Ukraine.

"Many Roma who have become soldiers have long ago signed agreements with the Ukrainian army and can not leave because no one will allow them to cross the border, they must fight in this war. "There are a lot of Roma who want to go to war, because this is where we were born - in Ukraine," Chovka said.

Another Roma activist, Julian Condor, said everyone was doing their best to stay safe, be with their families and be ready to defend their homes.

"We are relying on our army and we will defend our country," Condor said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky ordered a general mobilization on Thursday just before midnight.

As long as the state of emergency is in force, men between the ages of 18 and 60 can not leave Ukraine.

Serbia: Columnist Marko Vidojkovic accused of hate speech against Roma, he claims - I am not a racist

Writer and columnist Marko Vidojković is accused of hate speech against Roma because of the column "Paradise in Vuk Vrčević" in the daily Danas.

Vidojkovic says that he is not a racist and that he described the influence that the ten-year rule of the Serbian Progressive Party has on the life of this minority community.

The organization Opra Roma announced that the text of Vidojković, in which he writes about the Roma settlement on Karaburma, is "a symptom of the virus of anti-Roma policy".

The Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Brankica Janković, also reacted, condemning the inadmissible way in which Roma qualify and saying that she would act on the lawsuit in this case.

The newspaper Danas also came out, whose editorial board announced that the column was published "primarily as an ironic critique of the political abuse of our fellow Roma citizens, written by a writer in his recognizable style."

The Danas editorial board decided to remove Marko Vidojković's column "Paradise in Vuk Vrčević" from the danas.rs portal.
