Skopje, Topaana: The public is in shock after the brutal murder of a three-month-old baby from Skopje by its own father.

The event happened on the night between September 25 and 26, when the 44-year-old man from Skopje, a father, was in the home with four minor children, including the three-month-old son, and started hitting the child with hands and feet on the head and body.

The public is appalled by the actions of this, as they say on social networks, inhuman.

The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Skopje issued an Order to conduct an investigative procedure against a 44-year-old man, who, during domestic violence, took the life of his own child, thereby committing a crime - Murder under Article 123, paragraph 2, point 2 of the Criminal Code. In that way, he inflicted several injuries that caused bleeding in the cranial cavity, as a result of which the three-month-old baby died, announced yesterday from the OJO, from where he was ordered to be detained.

European Roma carry Indian bloodline

An inter-continental team of scientists drawn out from Asia, Europe and the USA has found that the ancestors of the European Roma are the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes from north-western India. “We have proved scientifically that the forefathers of the European Roma are the doma, a collective term for the ancient aboriginal populations. a collective term for the ancient aboriginal populations of the Indian subcontinent, also known as Dalits,” ......

Football and human rights: It's not just the goals of the champions - Ricardo Quaresma, Portuguese ace and fighter for Roma rights

A mobile phone was a luxury that the young Ricardo Quaresma could not afford.

In May 2000, he was in Israel with the Portuguese cadet national team.

He was not feeling well and was desperately trying to get in touch with his mother who was in Lisbon.

Overcome with fever, only one thought was in his head - how to get home as soon as possible.

Instead, Quarezma was persuaded to stay and regardless of his condition, he played in the final of the Under-16 World Cup.

He scored both goals in Portugal's 2-1 overtime victory over the Czech Republic to lift the trophy.

Those two goals changed his life forever.

Does Roma culture have Indian civilizational roots?

The Roma community, which mostly lives in Europe and Balkans but has a diaspora presence worldwide, stands cheek by jowl with India culturally, genetically, linguistically, physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. History made them our brothers and sisters but destiny put them geographically afar. The centuries-old prejudices and stereotypes against Roma have blurred the understanding of Romani culture that, therefore, has been seen in negative parlance.

The cultural history of the Roma community is composed of the routes they have treaded during their perennial relocation or dislocation rather than the traditional vestiges they had left behind. The changes in the customs, rituals and behavioral patterns of Roma are constantly taking place, mainly because of their constant migration to different countries, transition to modern societies, assimilation and integration with the local population. Nonetheless, a number of Romani groups in several regions/countries manifest and preserve centuries-old ethnic cultural heritage including norms, beliefs, traditional values and practices.
