The event was initiated by the Network for Systematic and Permanent Solutions of the Roma Community, whose coordinator is Zoran Dimov, and supported by the Government of the R.N. Macedonia.

It was attended by high-ranking state representatives such as Secretary General of the Government Metodija Dimovski, MPs from the Assembly Ljatifa Šikovska and Arbana Pasholi, State Secretaries from Juristice and MES Muhamed Toci and Aneta Trpeska, the ambassadors of Germany and Spain, as well as prominent Roma linguists, representatives from the NGO sector, etc.

In his speeches and discussions, it was emphasized that the preservation and study of the Romani language is of great importance, not only in primary schools where it is optional, but also in higher educational institutions, secondary schools and universities, for the opening of a Romani department.

In that direction, the formation of a staff of teachers and professors of the Romani language, history and culture is also underway.

At the same time, during the discussions, there was also the need for the functioning of the Digital Dictionary in Romani, Macedonian and English.

At the presentation itself, the interest among those present was huge, and the State Secretary Dimovski himself expressed the readiness of the state to help in the implementation and implementation of the first Roma digital dictionary.

The very commitment of the state and those present was that such a digital tool will represent a huge improvement in the education process, both among children from primary schools and among high school students and students, and will be of great benefit to the teaching staff in the use of their teaching materials. activities. According to all parameters, that digital dictionary will be more accessible to everyone and will contribute to quality and modern education.
