Exlusive: Interview with Romani soldiers serving in the Army of Ukraine at the frontA group of Romani soldiers has been serving on the front line of the Russo-Ukrainian war for two weeks now. They all come from the same town and now, like other Romani people in Ukraine, they have volunteered to defend their country. "We get up at 4 or 5 AM, whenever necessary. There are days we don’t sleep," one Romani soldier from the Army of Ukraine says in this exclusive interview with ROMEA TV. According to him, the Roma are not afraid on the front line. "What’s to fear now? We knew where we were going. The main thing is for our families to be ok," he told ROMEA TV. These soldiers are not the only Romani people defending Ukraine. "The young Roma have gone to fight in the Donbas, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Odessa or Kherson. They are also defending Kyiv," Myroslav Horvat, a Romani activist from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, said in an earlier interview for ROMEA TV. As many as 60 percent of Bitola Roma have not completed primary educationThe Roma population would rather use social assistance than get an education and find a regular job. 60 percent of Roma have not completed primary school, and unformed education is the main reason for unemployment of this population, which mostly works illegally, showed the research of the NGO Pred Plus, conducted in the Roma settlement Bair in Bitola. Many have accepted it as a normal job, because they believe that if they use social assistance they will be able to work illegally and provide additional livelihood, says Ramsey Medic, member of the team at the Preda Plus Foundation.

Roma in Northern Macedonia from 2001 to 2021 used contraceptives and condoms !!!

The publication of the census data from September 5 to 30, 2021, was the long-awaited information to count and know who is how much.

Of the total number of registered citizens, resident and non-resident, Macedonians are 54.21%, Albanians, 29.52%, and Roma 2.53%. The Census lists a total of 2,097,319 persons, of which 1,836,713 are resident population and 260,606 persons are non-resident population.

The census showed that the number of households was 598,632.

And now? How the Roma from 2.66% in 2001 fell to 2.53% for these 20 years. Is this figure realistic?

Paradox for example. From 2001 to 2021, I, as a declared Roma by nationality, counted my immediate family in 2001 together with my mother, brothers, sisters, grandchildren with daughters-in-law, and son-in-laws, numbering 20 people. In the meantime, from 2001 to 2021, grandchildren were born, and some of the children grew up and got married. Normally there are also dead people. In 2021 my immediate family had 9 newborns and only one died (my mother).

By some logic my immediate family with newborns has grown by about 40%. We now have 28 people. I am not counting the newly-born daughters-in-law or sons-in-law in the period 2001-2021. the number may fall to minus 2, or a total of 26 people or in percentage my immediate family may be larger by 30%.

Second example of the Census forgery in Suto Orizari.

In 2002, 60.59% of the total population were registered in the municipality, and 30.31% were Albanians. In 2021, 43.80% of Roma and 34.32% of Albanians are registered in Suto Orizari.

Where did the Roma get lost? And not the voter list are 23 037 voters at 36 polling stations of which 28 polling stations are mostly with Roma voters, 6 are with Albanian voters and only 1 is with Macedonian voters.

For such needs, it means that the Roma are only voters, right?

Well people, do you believe that we Roma in Macedonia from 2001 to 2021 strictly used contraceptives and condoms !!!.

Instead of the expected minimum minimum growth rate of about 15% or 2.66% - 56,000 Roma in 2001 to be at least 65,000 Roma in 2021, and not according to the Census below 50,000 Roma.

Where did that minus of about 20,000 Roma go? On whose account are they registered? Shame !!!

Muhamed Toci, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice: "We continue to enable the unregistered persons to receive a permanent systemic solution."

Yesterday, the challenges in the implementation of the Law on persons not registered in the Birth Register were discussed. During that meeting, the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice, Muhamed Toci, noted:

"We continue to enable the unregistered persons to receive a permanent systemic solution.

The target group are vulnerable categories of citizens, more than half of whom are members of the Roma community.

The Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia creates special policies, strategies intended for this vulnerable category.

"Let us all commit ourselves together to the proper implementation of the law in order to create a society that provides equal rights and opportunities to all citizens."

Unofficial: If "The day after the morning is known" Roma in Macedonia can hardly exceed the number of 60 thousand

These days, unofficial information has emerged that in Northern Macedonia, according to the 2021 census, there are a total of 1.8 million inhabitants or about 2.1 million in the diaspora. From that number, according to that information together with the diaspora, according to unofficial sources, Macedonians would leave from 60 to 62 percent, Albanians 29.5 percent, and members of other ethnic communities from 8 to 10 percent.

If "The day after the morning is known" the Roma in Macedonia can hardly exceed the number of 60 thousand. Will those numbers and percentages really come out then with the Roma according to the numbers it will be "ad acta" as in the last census from 2002 and that is about 56,000 Roma.

So for these 20 years, the Roma have not "sprouted" at all according to the number. Is that the "real" number of Roma in the country, now the mathematical calculations will begin.

The conclusion is one: We are really for nowhere!

The official results of the biggest statistical operation conducted last year will be announced this week.
