On the occasion of April 8, the President of the Parliament Talat Djaferi received representatives and a delegation from the Network for Systemic and Permanent Solutions

On the occasion of April 8, the International Roma Day and the 50th anniversary of the International Romani Union - IRU and the holding of the First World Congress of Roma in London in 1971, a delegation from the Network for Systemic and Permanent Solutions for Roma Integration from North Macedonia as well as other representatives of the Roma community were at a reception with the President of the Parliament Talat Djaferi. The network was represented by Zoran Dimov as President of the IRU, Shenaj Osmano, Ferat Asan President of SDSM - Suto Orizari and Ljatifa Shikovska and as an MP.

At the meeting and reception of the President of the Parliament, Talat Djaferi was awarded by the Network with a special plaque for huge contributions to the Roma community, and also the Charter on the occasion of this day.

Talat Djaferi on the occasion of April 8 - International Roma Day, congratulated the members of the Roma community.

He pointed out that building an inclusive society, with dignified living conditions, creation, progress of each individual is our obligation arising from the ratified universal declarations, the Roma Strategy and the Government's Strategic Plans, so that at no time should called into question the full integration of all of our citizens

On the occasion of April 8, the International Roma Day and the 50th anniversary of the International Romani Union - IRU and the holding of the First World Congress of Roma in London in 1971, a delegation from the Network for Systematic and Sustainable Solutions for Roma Integration from North Macedonia as well as other representatives of the Roma community were at a reception at the President Stevo Pendarovski. The network was represented by Zoran Dimov as President of the IRU and Ljatifa Shikovska as an MP.

At the meeting and reception of President Pendarovski, the Network awarded him a special plaque for huge contributions to the Roma community, as well as the Charter on the occasion of this day.

Pendarovski points out that together we aim to build a solidarity, a just and a free society that respects diversity and human dignity.

On the occasion of April 8 - International Roma Day, Zegin donated 4,000 visors to the two primary schools and the kindergarten in the municipality of Suto Orizari

On the occasion of April 8, International Roma Day, the owner of the company Zegin - Mr. Blagoja Mehandziski awarded a donation of 4000 children's visors for the health of children from the primary schools "Brakja Ramiz I Hamid" and "July 26", as well as for the youngest of the kindergarten "April 8" from the municipality of Suto Orizari. 

The donation was received by the principals of the primary schools, and was attended by a representative from the municipality of Suto Orizari, as well as Mr. Zoran Dimov - President of the International Romani Union - IRU and coordinator of a network for sustainable systemic and permanent solutions. Also, the representative from Zegin pointed out that, Mr. Blagoja Mehndziski will continue to help where needed, hoping to deal with the pandemic as soon as possible.

On the occasion of April 8, the Network for systemic and permanent solutions for receptions and meetings with the state leadership

On the occasion of April 8, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the First World Congress and the start of work of the International Roma Union - IRU, the Network for Permanent and Systemic Solutions for the Integration of the Roma Community in Macedonia composed of 12 Roma NGOs from Macedonia , organizes several days of activities.

The events start on April 7 with a reception and meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia Mr. Zoran Zaev where the representatives of the Network led by MP Latifa Shikovska and the Coordinator of the Network Zoran Dimov will have a brief meeting where Prime Minister Zaev will be awarded a Plaque for Special Contribution to the Roma Community.

Immediately afterwards in the conference hall of the Government of the RS Macedonia will be held an event entitled "Courage, Dignity, Trust, and Strength in Achieving the Goals of The strategic determinations for the Roma in the Republic of Northern Macedonia ". Most of the Government Ministers were present at that meeting.

On April 8, the representatives of the Network will have a meeting with the President of the Assembly, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, as well as with the President of the country, Stevo Pendarovski. During the reception and the meeting they will be awarded Plaques for Special Contribution to the Roma community. During the commemoration of the events they will also be awarded Plaques and several diplomatic missions in our country such as the embassies of FR Germany, Switzerland, USA, France, Great Britain, Slovakia, the Delegation of the European Union in Skopje, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade, MCMS. FOOM. UNDP, UNICEF, to Mr. Samet Skenderi - InSoK, Skopje, Mr. Asan Ferat, Ms. Salija Bekir Halim - Women's Initiative from Suto Orizari as well as posthumously to Mr. Amdi Bajram and Dr. Trajko Petrovski.
